1. The oil level must not be higher than the maximum mark,otherwise the Catalytic converter for exhaust gas may be damaged.

2. For car safety,please do not increase or decrease the oil filling amount at will:

The T40178 oil detection dipstick is suitable for Audi,VW,Skoda and Porsche only.Nothing is omnipotent,you see the engine oil capacity of different manufacturers is different,the depth of the oil detection hole is also different.It is impossible to measure without the standard data provided by the car manufacturer, adding more or less oil has a direct impact on engine operation.

How to use the T40178:

Take Audi A4 engine oil test as an example.

●Step1: The test condition is that the engine oil temperature should not be lower than 60℃;the vehicle is in a horizontal position,wait a few minutes after turning off the engine,the oil flows back into the oil pan,now we can use the T40178 (Engine Oil Level Dipstick Gauge Tool) to measure.

●Step2: Open the knurled bolt of T40178 and move the adjusting ring,Adjust the bottom edge to 39.

●Step3: Insert T40178 into the stop position of the oil dipstick tube (lower edge of adjusting ring).

●Step4: Then pull it out again and read the oil level.

Attention: For 2.0T engine,need to polish the ruler head before inserting.
